We have requests for blending varieties from time to time, and that service is available for a small extra charge, or we can layer the varieties in your truck, for no additional charge. In general blends have shown yield advantages many times over the separate varieties that are in the mixes, but they can make harvest and other management practices more difficult if there are differences in maturity. It is that difference in maturity of varieties though that can be the biggest benefit of a blend in the ability to handle stresses at different times of the year.
